Mobile B2C company that has won numerous industry awards, is hiring a Java Developer for their state of the art Mclean office.

This organization allows for automation of proprietary information to be seamlessly shared across multiple verticals and is looking for someone to assist with: scaling their internal applications, code deploys and code releases, and building out new applications in a cutting edge tech driven environment.

This person will be joining a tight knit and fast paced team of 8 Software and DevOps engineers who primarily will be utilizing: Java, springboot, angular 8, AWS toolsuite(EC2, S3 buckets, RDS, etc), PostgreSQL, microservices and containerization as well as Automation tools. If you’re a strong java developer with solid computer science fundamentals coming from a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.

• - 3+ years of software development
• - Strong experience with: Java 8 and core Java principles
• - Development experience utilizing modern javascript frameworks like react and angular
• - Prior experience building REST API’s from scratch
• - Familiarity working in a fast paced agile environment
• - Database Experience: MongoDB, CouchDB PostgreSQL, or similar
• - Experience with microservices
• - Bachelors in computer science or related field

• - Masters in Computer Science or related field
• - Experience deploying applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• - Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• - Experience with design and development of large scale software projects
