The leader in digital commerce is looking to bring on a Lead Java Engineer to join their elite east coast team in Mclean, Virginia This person will be working on an all new green development project, working alongside the R&D applications team. The ideal applicant will be a self motivated pragmatist who is able to take a task and run with it, with little to no direction and be proficient with both front-end and back-end open source technologies.

• - 3+ years of professional software engineering
• - Solid foundational computer science fundamentals with algorithms
• - Strong experience with: Java, and spring boot.
• - Database Experience: Cassandra, or MongoDB
• - Strong background with Rest API's
• - Bachelors in computer science or related field
• - Experience with Micro-service architecture

• - Masters in Computer Science or a related field
• - Experience deploying applications to Amazon Web Services
• - Experience with Big Data tools such as Spark and Kafka
• - Background with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization
• - Background with modern front-end frameworks like react, angular or vue.js
