Brett Sirois
Brett started his career as a Tier 1 Help Desk tech before transitioning into sales and recruiting, ultimately founding Stem IT in 2019. He’s DC born and College of Charleston educated, eventually settling in Alexandria after stops in Scottsdale-Brooklyn-Chicago.
Outside of work, he enjoys: golf, watching sports & movies, snowboarding, playing chess, and reading autobiographies.
Joe Little
Joe brings over 10 years of technical recruiting experience spanning the full software development lifecycle. With a relationship-first approach, he builds lasting partnerships by taking the time to understand the needs of both his clients and candidates.
His goal is simple: connect great people with the right opportunities while creating a recruiting experience built on trust, transparency, and genuine partnership.
Jacob Skinner
Jacob is a technical recruiting and staffing leader with 10+ years of experience building high-performing engineering and product teams in the Washington, DC area. His expertise spans Software Engineering, AI/ML, Infrastructure, Data, and Product, with a track record of leading recruiting teams and partnering with technology companies to identify and attract exceptional technical talent.
Outside of work, Jacob reports to his Golden Retriever, Brooklyn, who oversees his schedule, approves all breaks, and ensures he never forgets who’s really in charge.
Leo Tonaki
Leo provides a distinct search advantage to hiring teams and job seekers alike. Over his 10 years, he’s established founding teams, scaled engineering orgs, and captured niche skill sets across various industries from education, health, fintech, cybersecurity, and more.
His technical expertise includes software engineering, platform infrastructure, AI and machine learning, data engineering, product design, product management, and QA.
Shannon Curley
Shannon has 6+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and specializes in recruiting technical talent across areas including Open Source, Data, AI/ML, UI/UX, and more. She genuinely enjoys getting to know the candidates she works with and taking the time to understand their experience, strengths, and what they’re looking for in their next opportunity.
